As well as unwinding there are a multitude of things to be done in and around Duck Rock.

There is an excellent opportunity for swimming, waterskiing & other popular water sports on the lake. Boat hire is available throughout the season. The lake itself is connected to the Magnetawan River system and Whitestone Lake is considered one of the better fishing spots in Ontario. The village of Dunchurch is located in the township of Hagerman leisurely half hour drive from the larger centers of Sundridge, Burk Falls & Parry Sound where you will find many craft shops, sightseeing tours, museums and the ever popular Rainbow Theater as well as the Festival of the Sound.

In the winter a different world awaits you, snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country skiing, tobogganing and snow shoeing, skating are all great fun. The snowmobiling in the area is well known and Duck Rock is right on one of the best trail systems in Ontario making it an ideal location for riders to stop in on.
