Ontario itself also has one of the highest populations of black bears
(between 75,000 and 100,000). There are local places that organize hunting
trips for bear that almost guarantee you success. The Dunchurch area is well known for its populations of whitetail deer that attract hunters year in, year out. Moose hunting is also very popular around here and there are plenty of places to get information and equipment from to set you up. Small game hunting is also popular if you fancy something smaller. During hunting season the store provides hunting licenses for bear, moose, deer and small game. Licenses to hunt with dogs are also available. |
